Real family life can be funny, loud, quiet, unpredictable, and sometimes all of those things within five minutes. I don’t expect your kids to stand still, your teenager to suddenly love having their picture taken, or everyone to arrive ready to perform for the camera.
Your session is built around your family—not the other way around.
I’ll give you direction when you need it, keep things moving when that works, slow down when it doesn’t, and leave plenty of room for the moments that happen naturally. The goal isn’t a gallery full of perfect poses. It’s photographs that look and feel like the people you love.

As a mom who has raised children with special needs, I understand that a successful experience doesn’t look the same for every family. A Location That Works for Your Family
Southern Arizona gives us an incredible variety of places to photograph—from desert landscapes and mountain views to parks, historic neighborhoods, and quieter spaces with room to explore.
We’ll choose your location based on more than what looks beautiful. We’ll consider your family, the ages and needs of your children, the amount of walking involved, accessibility, crowds, and the overall feeling you want for your photographs.
Preparing Without the Stress
You won’t be left trying to figure everything out on your own. Before your session, I’ll help with location planning, clothing guidance, timing, and the little details that can make session day easier.
The goal is coordination, not matching—and preparation, not perfection.
During Your Session
You don’t have to arrive knowing how to pose or how to get everyone to cooperate. That part is mine.
I’ll guide you into the photographs we want while giving your family room to interact naturally. We might walk, play, talk, laugh, take a break, or completely change what we’re doing when something better unfolds.
And yes, we’ll make time for the beautiful everyone-together portrait too.
Your Images
After your session, I’ll carefully select and professionally edit your images and deliver them through a private online gallery. Your collection will include the number of digital images included with your chosen session, with the option to purchase additional digital images and prints.
These photographs deserve to live somewhere beyond your phone.
