Getting on the calendar
How do I book a session with you?
Reach out through my contact page and tell me a little about what you’re picturing. From there I’ll send over availability, pricing, and a simple agreement. Your date is officially yours once the retainer is paid and the contract is signed — that’s it.
How far in advance should I book?
Four to six weeks is a comfortable window for most sessions. Fall in Southern Arizona is my busiest stretch — graduation and family season overlap — so if you’re eyeing September through November, reach out sooner. Branding shoots on tighter timelines are often doable; just ask.
How does payment work?
A retainer reserves your date, and the balance is due before your gallery is delivered. I take card and bank transfer, and I’m happy to split larger branding packages into a couple of payments. No surprise fees — you’ll see the full investment up front.
What happens if I need to reschedule?
Life happens — kids get sick, plans shift. Give me as much notice as you can and we’ll find a new date that works. Your retainer moves with you to the rescheduled session.

What should we wear?
Think soft, layered, and in the same family of tones — earthy neutrals photograph beautifully against our desert light. Skip large logos and tight patterns. Once you book, I’ll send a personalized styling guide with real examples showing exactly what works best. I’m always available to answer outfit questions before the shoot, so feel free to reach out with photos if you’d like feedback.
Can I bring the kids and the dog?
Absolutely — some of my favorite frames come from the moments that aren’t posed. Bring the little ones, bring the pup. I shoot at a relaxed pace and I’m good with the chaos. Just let me know who’s coming so I can plan the flow.
What if it rains — or the weather turns?
Southern Arizona weather is usually on our side, but monsoon season keeps things interesting. If conditions won’t work, we’ll reschedule to the next available date at no charge. A little dramatic sky can actually be a gift — I’ll make the call with you.
Where will we shoot, and how long does it take?
I work all over Tucson, Vail, and the surrounding areas — from open trailheads to your own front porch or place of business. Most portrait sessions run 60 to 90 minutes; branding shoots often go longer. We’ll choose a location together based on the mood you’re after.
I’m not photogenic — will you tell me what to do?
You’d be amazed how often I hear this — and how rarely it turns out to be true. I guide you the whole way through, with easy prompts instead of stiff poses. My job is to make you feel comfortable enough to forget the camera is there.

How many photos will I receive?
Your final gallery is thoughtfully curated, so the number of images you receive will vary depending on your session and the collection you select. Rather than delivering a set number of photos, I focus on telling the complete story of your session. Every image is carefully selected and professionally edited, ensuring you receive a beautiful collection of meaningful moments, genuine connections, and the little details you’ll treasure for years to come.
When will my gallery be ready?
Turnaround is two to three weeks for portraits, and I’ll share a few sneak peeks within a couple of days so you don’t have to wait for the whole thing. Branding galleries move on a timeline we set together to match your launch.
How do I get my images, and can I print them?
Your final images will be available in a private online gallery. After you select your final choices, I will send you a link where you can download and share them. Prints are yours to make — and I offer a professional print shop right in your gallery so your walls get the color and quality these photos deserve.
What is included with standard editing?
Every delivered image includes professional color correction, exposure adjustments, cropping, natural skin tone refinement, and light retouching when appropriate. My goal is for you to look like your best self—not like someone else. Temporary distractions such as minor blemishes or stray hairs are often addressed as part of my normal editing process.
Edits that require significant digital manipulation—such as removing people or large objects, changing backgrounds, extensive skin retouching, body reshaping, or other custom requests—are considered advanced retouching and are quoted separately.
